WPSL Atlantic Conference - Carolinas - CRO Referee Schedules + Game Day Information 

We are at the start of another great WPSL Season and we are looking forward to working with all of you again this summer! Below you will find information on Referees, schedule confirmations and contact information. We look excited for the season and please feel free to reach out if you need anything during the season. We do require a response to this concerning referee payments so please note that and respond with your choice of payments.

We have taken the schedules emailed to us by teams or the league as well as the schedule listed on the WPSL website and added to the above Spreadsheet. Please take a moment to review and make sure that your schedule is correct. If anything is missing or incorrect let us know now and we will adjust it to the correct information you give us. We also ask that you reply and confirm all of the contact information for your club so that we have it on file in case it is needed. 

U20 - U23 Schedules
These schedules are included in the spreadsheet for all the schedules linked above. Any matches for these team schedules will need to be emailed to us as they are not always provided by the WPSL league office. We do not have those on the website or from the league. All U20 - U23 matches will be provided with 3 person referee crew unless a 4th official is requested by the home club. The assigning cost of those games are included in the WPSL League fees and is not an additional cost to you. 

Scrimmages and Friendlies for the first team are also included and no additional cost for assigning fees during the season. If you have any set up or add any through the season please email them to us at CRO@CROReferees.com

Video Film Submission for Referee Observations

If you have video that you can share so that we can assess and observe the referees throughout the season please send that to us. We will email out each week to request the film. We look forward to a great season and if there are any questions or issues at all please let us know.

Referee Fees & Invoicing

We have two options that can be done for referee fee payments this season. We are requiring that whatever option you choose remains consistent through the season so that we can post the information to the referees. Please email what option you will use to CRO@CROReferees.com

Option 1

First, if you would like to pay the referees yourself they must be paid at the field prior to the match with no exceptions to this if you choose this option. 

• Payment options AT the field 

• Cash or Check

• Venmo, Zelle or other payment apps can NOT be used for referee payment to ensure referees are able to receive payment if they do not have the necessary app. 

Option 2

Second option will be for CRO to make payments to the referees. This will include payroll / transaction fees associated with the digital payment platforms used. This adds roughly $20 to the cost per match. If you select this option we will send you a link that you can pay in full upfront for the season or game by game and use the same link each time a match is played.

Referee Match Fees Structure - Summer 2024

WPSL First Team
- Referee Fees = $115 + $80 + $80 + $55 = $330

- Payment Transaction Fee of 5% + Payroll Transaction Fee of $10 = $ 356.5 Total
**Payment Transaction Fee & Payroll Transaction Fee only apply if you are sending the referee fees to CRO digitally and CRO is paying the referees for your matches.

WPSL U20 - U23 Teams
- Referee Fees =  $115 + $80 + $80 = $275

- Payment Transaction Fee of 5% + Payroll Transaction Fee of $10 = $ 298.75 Total

Assignment Fee - Paid directly by WPSL

Transaction Fees - Organizations will be responsible for Transaction Fees associated with the payment of their fees and payment of the referees. An allowance has been included in the payment of the referee fees for transaction fees, however should those fees change or the allowance not cover the cost of the transaction fees the teams will be informed and the fees will be adjusted for any matches after that announcement has been made to the teams.

Returned / Refunded Referee Fees

Any Referee Fees paid for a match that is cancelled and/or changed that are not forfeit due to the policies stated in the league manual, the Fees will be returned via check in the mail less Any transaction Fees

Payments & Payment Request Timing

• All Payments should be paid prior to the match date or on the match date

• Late or missing Match Payments are subject to a $30 Additional Fee per match.

• Late Fees will be implemented the week after Teams receive match payment notices for the season’s matches.
