What are blocks?

Blocks will tell your assignors when you are and are not available.

BLOCKED = Unavailable

  • White = OPEN AND AVAILABLE ALL DAY

  • Red = Blocked all day UNAVAILABLE

  • Dark Blue = Game Already Assigned

  • Peach = Blocked for part of the Day

Can I change blocks after making them?

YES! If your schedule changes you may clear out and add new blocks.

You must CLEAR YOUR OLD BLOCKS before adding in your new blocks. If you do not clear old blocks you will have two blocks and your assignors will not know which block is correct.

Common Mistakes with Blocks

Referees only setting blocks on Saturdays or Sundays and leaving weekdays blank.

Not updating blocks when schedules change

Not Clearing old blocks when changing or updating blocks

How often should I add my new blocks in and how far in advance?

It is great if you can add in your blocks as far in advance as you know your schedule. You can then update them each week or when you make new plans.

Anytime your school / work schedule changes, sports team schedules are added, birthday parties or plans. Anything that would prevent you from refereeing.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE BLOCKS FOR WEEKDAYS WHEN YOU ARE NOT AVAILABLE YOU WILL BE LOWER IN THE ASSIGNING OPTIONS THAN REFEREES WITH FULLY SET BLOCKS
