YOU MUST KNOW…
The Laws of The Game and the League Rules
Laws of the Game: These are the rules that govern soccer on a global scale. This is where you read what is allowed in soccer from a U5 recreation game to a MLS Match to the World Cup. In the Laws of the Game you will find the definition of a foul, offside, who gets the ball to start the game and everything you need to know about soccer.
League Rules: The League rules will show you specific rules for the league you’re working in. Like Drop back lines, how many coaches are allowed, when and how many substitutions are allowed, length of your games, types of free kicks used, and everything you need to know about the specific league you’re working in.
