Things to Remember When Assigned a match

  • Check Arbiter Daily

  • ALWAYS keep your schedule in LIST view. The accept / decline option does not show up in other views

  • Matches must be accepted or declined within 48 hours of being assigned

  • Anyone who does not accept matches in a timely manner may be removed from matches and will lower on the list than referees who accept or communicate quickly about matches.

  • Once a match is accepted you must contact your assignor to be removed or click the turn back function, if it is available

Frequently Asked Questions about Accepting Matches

  • You cannot accept individual matches in a set without emailing your assignor, Arbiter does not allow that. If you get sent 4 matches but your schedule only allows you to do 3 of them. Email your assignor to tell them which matches you can work BEFORE you decline or accept the matches.

  • First, remember that this is a job. We know that your schedule may change but games should not be turned back to the assignor at late notice if at all possible.

If you do have to come off your matches EMAIL your assignor and tell them you cannot do the games. DO NOT Text this to your assignor. Text messages are often missed or lost. EMAIL ONLY

  • EMAIL you assignor and tell them your see the assignments and will be able to confirm them with 48 hours OR whatever timeline you are waiting for. If we do not know you are checking your schedule or waiting for your full-time job or something else then we may remove you for a referee that is available after 48 hours without any communication from you.
